For questions, problems, or data requests about OSINT Navigator, including the ChatGPT plugin, CLI, API, and MCP connections, email tom@buriedsignals.com. Say what you were doing and which app you used (website, CLI, ChatGPT, Claude, or another client). Never send passwords or API keys by email.
Enter your email on the sign-in page and open the link we send you. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. AI apps such as ChatGPT open the same Navigator page when you connect them; there you can also sign in with a Navigator API key instead of an email link.
These need an account with member access through Indicator Media. If your membership changed recently, sign in again so Navigator can check it. If access still fails, email us with the error message you see.
Each account has a daily limit of questions, which resets at 00:00 UTC. Searching the catalog and reading a tool's documentation do not count. In ChatGPT, ask "How many Navigator questions do I have left today?"
Add the OSINT Navigator plugin in ChatGPT, then sign in on the Navigator page that opens. ChatGPT only sends Navigator the inputs of the tools it calls, such as your question or search terms.
Disconnect Navigator in that app's settings. If you connected with an API key, deleting the key under API on the Navigator website also ends that connection. To end a connection immediately in any other case, email us.
For members, Navigator recommends open-source intelligence tools from its catalog and shows their documentation. It does not run those tools, search the web, or look up people for you. Recommendations can be incomplete or out of date, so check a tool's terms and legality before using it.
